A lightweight Windows app that displays gentle animated stars across your screen while you work. The overlay is transparent and click-through — it doesn't interfere with your normal computer use.
Based on research suggesting that temporal contrast (flickering stimuli) and peripheral visual stimulation may help support healthy eye development and provide a "stop signal" for excessive eye growth.

The Science
Temporal Contrast
Research has shown that exposure to high temporal frequencies with high contrast can provide a "stop signal" for eye growth. The gentle twinkling of the stars provides this temporal modulation without being distracting.
Peripheral Stimulation
Modern screen work often involves staring at a fixed point with limited peripheral awareness. The floating stars encourage natural eye movements and peripheral engagement — more like being outdoors where our eyes evolved.
Spatial Frequency Diversity
The app displays both sharp-edged stars (high spatial frequency) and soft dots (low spatial frequency), mimicking the rich visual environment found outdoors that may be protective against myopia progression.
